MAKE THE PROGRESS PRIDE FLAG PERMANENT!

It's time to talk about the Progress Pride Flag on the Cherry Grove dock. Last year, BaBEC purchased a 15' x 25' marine quality flag from the original designer Daniel Quasar, as a gift to the community. It was meant to show the community's dedication to progress and inclusion of BIPOC and trans people. The very next week it was taken down and we were told that in an effort to honor the original flag designed by Gilbert Baker, the Progress Pride Flag would be included in a 6 week rotation.

Do you think that the flag should be flown permanently? If it was permanent, what are some ways that you think the Cherry Grove could still honor the original Gilbert Baker flag?
