Last Saturday, Cherry Grove became a haven of love, equality, and unity as our very own East Enders, comprising Allison Michael Orenstein, Simone Saint Laurent, and Greg Scarnici, hosted an unforgettable beach tea dance in support of BaBEC.

A Party With a Purpose

The East Enders are not just an ordinary trio; they are fervent advocates and Accomplices of BaBEC. As residents of Cherry Grove, their commitment to BIPOC LGBTQ+ and transgender equity within our communities is unparalleled. Their energetic efforts culminated in an inspiring event that not only brought people together but also raised funds to further our mission.

The Dance of Unity

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Fire Island's sandy shores, the tea dance was a riot of colors, smiles, and pure joy. The electrifying beats were courtesy of Greg Scarnici, MUSE(O)FIRE, and A/O, who kept the crowd dancing throughout the event.

With an attendance that exceeded expectations, the dance floor was filled with supporters who believe in our cause and the positive change we strive to bring.

Raising Funds and Hopes

While the dance was thrilling, what made it genuinely extraordinary was the shared sense of purpose and commitment to a greater good. The East Enders raised an impressive $3,100 of their $5,000 goal, a testament to the unbreakable spirit of our Accomplices and the community.

But we're not done yet! The East Enders are still accepting donations, and every contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to our goal.

Join Us as an Accomplice

If you're inspired by the relentless dedication of the East Enders and want to be part of this thriving community, we invite you to join BaBEC as an Accomplice. Together, we can create an inclusive environment where everyone feels embraced, valued, and empowered.

Thank You!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the East Enders, our talented DJs, CNK Construction, all those who attended, and everyone who has donated so far. The success of this fundraiser reflects the strength and unity of our community. We are reminded once again that love always triumphs.
